Jim is the President of Williams & Case Insurance Agency. The grandson of co-founder Gail W. Williams, Jim joined in 2000 before graduating from Mount Union College (now the University of Mount Union) in Alliance, OH. He lives with his wife, Marie, in Alliance.

Julie is our Office Manager and an Ohio-licensed insurance agent who joined us in 2018. She lives in Hanoverton with her husband, Tim, and their three kids, Danika, Tucker, and Fisher.

Katie is a licensed insurance agent who joined us at the end of 2022. She moved from Florida to Sebring with her husband, Joe, and her two sons, Allen and Shawn.

Who We Are

The beginnings of the Williams and Case Insurance Agency date back to 1926 when J.M. Badertscher, then principal of Sebring McKinley High School, purchased a small insurance agency. The J.M. Badertscher Insurance Agency was joined by Gail Williams, brother-in-law to Mr. Badertscher, in 1945. Mr. Badertscher would eventually leave to return to the administration at the high school.

On March 1, 1946, Ernest L. Case joined Mr. Williams to form Williams and Case Insurance Agency. They eventually incorporated. In 1969, the agency moved to a more central location in Sebring, Ohio. With each year came premium volume growth and more business.

The expanding corporation bought many smaller insurance agencies. Company co-founder, E.L. Case retired in 1979. In 1982, G.W. Williams retired and his duties as president were taken by Bill Williams.

In 1984, computers were first purchased for bookkeeping and marketing. Later, in 1989, the agency moved once again to its present location at 60 S. 15th Street. The next year, by buying another area insurance agency, Williams and Case became one of the largest insurance agencies in Sebring, Ohio.

James Williams joined the team in the summer of 2000, making the agency span three generations. In 2021, B. Williams retired after 49 and 1/2 years.  As the agency continues to grow locally, it also looks for new opportunities to expand through purchasing other area agencies.
